Carriers

Turn delivery, pickup and locker release into a new revenue moment.

IPAY helps carriers replace COD complexity with a digital payment and release flow — reducing cash risk, liability and back-office cost while keeping a revenue opportunity per IPAY-enabled order.

Confirmed digital payments at delivery

Carriers already control the most important trust moment in e-commerce: the moment the parcel reaches the consumer. IPAY turns that moment into a digital payment, verification and release opportunity.

Instead of handling cash or building payment infrastructure themselves, carriers can connect to IPAY and offer merchants a scalable Pay On Arrival solution. If you still handle COD, IPAY helps you reduce risk and cost without losing the commercial value of payment-at-delivery orders.

Carrier benefits

Reduce COD risk. Keep the delivery-revenue opportunity.

New revenue per parcel

Earn a fee on IPAY-enabled delivery, pickup, locker and duties flows.

Reduce COD risk and liability

Replace driver cash collection with digital PSP confirmation, reducing cash exposure, fraud risk and settlement differences.

Lower COD back-office cost

Reduce manual cash reconciliation, driver settlement checks, payment disputes and administrative follow-up.

No cash handling

Keep the pay-at-delivery proposition without operational COD complexity.

Better delivery success

Consumers who confirm payment before release are more committed to accepting the parcel.

Locker monetization

Make locker delivery more profitable by linking payment confirmation and release.

Duties / VAT support

Request customs-related payments before delivery, pickup or release.

API-first integration

Connect IPAY to existing carrier tracking, driver, dispatch, locker and release systems.

From COD to digital release

From COD handling to digital release.

For carriers that still support COD, IPAY creates a digital alternative without removing the commercial value of payment-at-delivery orders. Consumers can still pay when the parcel is there, but payment confirmation is handled digitally through licensed PSPs. The carrier receives a clear release signal, while cash handling, driver liability, settlement differences and back-office reconciliation are reduced.

  • Less driver cash exposure
  • Fewer settlement differences
  • Lower fraud and loss risk
  • Less end-of-day cash reconciliation
  • Continued fee opportunity per IPAY-enabled order
  • Digital audit trail for every payment and release event

Lockers

Lockers — the physical delivery process can stay unchanged.

For locker flows, IPAY adds payment verification before pickup without changing the physical delivery process. The parcel can still be placed in the locker as usual; IPAY adds the payment, confirmation and release layer before the consumer receives or uses the pickup instruction.

Payment visibility

Carrier control room with release events, payment status and locker performance.

Drivers, dispatch, lockers and pickup points share one source of truth. Carriers see payment confirmation before release and can monitor payment speed, release success, COD reduction and settlement exceptions.

Example carrier KPIs

  • Payment confirmed before release
  • Average payment time at door
  • Release success rate
  • Failed or expired payment requests
  • COD cash avoided
  • COD reconciliation differences avoided
  • Driver cash exposure reduced
  • Locker release success
  • Pickup release success
  • Settlement exceptions by route, depot or country

Example KPIs are shown per pilot, route and delivery type. Actual numbers depend on the carrier deployment.

Launch focus

Pilots are live, in onboarding or targeted for launch.

Initial commercial focus includes UPS-first flows, BMD Logistics, Lostocs, Pack and selected European and Asian carrier opportunities.

Carrier pilots and integrations are being activated in phases. IPAY is preparing carrier-led Pay On Arrival flows for home delivery, pickup, locker release, returns and duties payments. Availability depends on carrier integration, country, delivery type and merchant configuration.
